We bring Costa Rican coffee to Canada on behalf of the farmers who grow it, and we run a Montreal landscaping crew that helps fund that mission.

Our story

It started with a call from Costa Rica

In 2024, coffee farmers in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica reached out and asked us to represent their coffee in Canada. We said yes.

To keep that promise while their coffee found its market, we started a landscaping company in Montreal. Today the landscaping work helps sustain the coffee side as we bring it to farmers' markets and local grocery shelves.

Our mission & purpose

Better lives at the farm. A better cup at home.

Our goal is to help the farmers we work with become Fair Trade certified, and to raise the standard of social well-being and education in their communities.

Our founder grew up in Colombia. We want the people of Central and South America to be better off, and every customer in Montreal and across North America to get a better-tasting cup.

About the founder

Ruben Darío Charry

Founder & Managing Director · Born in Colombia, building in Montréal.

  • A modern approach. Bringing fresh energy, new ideas and efficiency to Montréal's traditional coffee scene.
  • Passionate about the craft. Committed to the science of roasting, ethical sourcing and real hospitality.
  • Built for partnership. Not just another vendor: a reliable, hands-on partner for local businesses and for the farmers we work with.

Ruben is finishing degrees in Agricultural Economics and Wildlife Biology at McGill, and has direct ties to the coffee-farming community in Costa Rica.

Design & Marketing Lead

Graphic designer who recently moved to Canada, with a passion for coffee, landscaping and design. Leads our brand, marketing and content, and works on our labels, packaging and new coffee products.
